TAI is teaming up with Toyota to create one of the largest and most advanced battery production facilities in North America.
When construction is completed in 2025, Toyota Battery Manufacturing, North Carolina (TBMNC) will produce state-of-the art lithium-ion batteries for over 8,000 electrified vehicles. This collaboration will also create about 1,750 new jobs.
TAI is investing, not only in the facilities of the future, but also in the people. Together with Teach For America, TAI has launched the Future Forward program in the public schools of Randolph County, North Carolina.
